Swimming

I've had a lovely day. I have spent every summer here, and we all learned to swim in this pool. And despite coming regularly, this is the first time in several years that I ventured down there!

I had wanted to swim again, but always put it off. I decided this morning around 11:30am, after I was ready, so just go see if it was empty. I feel a bit self conscious in a bikini, that and being so pale, so was hoping it would be quiet.

I lucked out! The guy was there still hoovering the pool, and although I waited around 20 minutes for him to finish, the moment he was gone I seized my opportunity! 

I was a bit scared as there was no one else there but me, but I was like a kid in a candy store, I couldn't believe I was actually in the pool, and enjoying it!

It was so good, that I went again in the afternoon, and again, it was empty. Unfortunately the 2nd time I spent around 45 minutes in there, and I am spectacularly sunburnt! 

I wish I didn't have to go home tonight :-(
