Early start..

and a trip out into the bay with a friend to help lift his pots... it was so much fun.. we started by catching enough mackerel to bait the pots (and a few for the smoker) then off to find what there was in his pots.. we pulled up 7 pots and had 10 lobsters (6 went back to grow a little more) and two parton (edible crab) and umpteen soft shelled crab.  This is a good sized lobster and it had massive claws.. beautiful creatures!  There wasn't a breath of wind and you could hear the seabirds and the seals calling from a good distance away.

After that I headed inland for lunch with my sister and brother in law.. and now home to go and enjoy this morning spoils.. lobster barbecue.. lucky me :)  A great last day of my wonderful Scottish holiday.. sunburnt and well rested.  (apart from last night.. it was a bit short!!)
