Deer...

I think, I'm not very good with deer! I went to Wentworth Castle park today for a walk and to look for their herd of deer. Wow, amazing how you can be so close on the path to this herd and they don't mind. Heart in mouth a bit though at the size of the antlers of the stags! Even a bit of bellowing too... I shall go back, it was a wonderful experience!

PS - my extra today is a very fine fungi specimen, I'll get my fungi head on later to figure out what it is, but Penny Bun might get there before me :) 

PPS - don't think it's chicken of the woods...
