Missive impossible

Finally we have exchanged missives on the flat we are buying in Edinburgh. This was the momentous news I had but then got spooked that I might jinx the deal by blabbing about it. It did come down to lawyers arguing the toss about the definition of bed linen.

I feel a new chapter in our lives is beginning. We sat around the post-BBQ fire jittery with the newness of it all.
