Under construction

The Cwcw and Wychway Railway (CWR) is the product of a lifetime's interest in (amongst many other things) narrow guage railways. And of my imagination.

I've taken many pictures of the progress of this model which all started over 6 years ago. The project will no doubt steadily occupy the remainder of my life - a few years yet, hopefully.

This picture shows the canal basin at Benmere which I am today preparing to finish by pouring in the artificial "water". The cargo carrying working boat Ben is there in the shadow of two big warehouses, a passenger train waits in the platform and a few wagons stand in the goods yard.
