Breeze

The little little one is taking all if this school malarkey in her stride. The big little one came home smiling too.

Sad news in the evening. The father of some very dear friends of mine passed away. I remember a wise, clever and lovely man who was always very kind to me and my girls. We had seen our friends briefly in Cumbria when we were on holidays, they were heading north to Scotland from the midlands. Just a couple of hours of intense chat, but I was reminded how very much I miss them and how very far away they are.

Sadness abounds.
