Bloomsday '84
I felt like wearing this 30-year-old shirt today. The Bloomsday was an annual race in Spokane to celebrate spring. Back then, near the peak of the running craze, there were 10 Km and sometimes half-marathon races almost every weekend -- each one with its special tee shirt. I had dozens of them, and still have some.
My then wife and I stayed with Welsh friends in Spokane. The weekend was memorable for the very unseasonable snow showers on race day.
C offered to photograph me wearing the shirt for my blip. We both thought my workshop made a good location.
