Castle

We made a trip to the castle today. Although there isn't a huge amount left of it we managed to get up some spiral steps to take a few photos of some of the remains (and found a pigeon nesting too!) and while I was photographing the pigeon on the ledge a white dove flew across the shot. It looked much better on the camera than it does full size but never mind.

We were going to make a trip around the local museum but at a price of £8 each we decided to just come home! If we get residents cards then I think we can get in free so we need to look in to that quite soon I think.
