My Girl!

Fathers day in the UK today. Jim had a small lie in followed by breakfast at the local pub that just happens to be in the Michelin guide. It had to be breakfast as Carys was dancing at another school's summer fete today and she had to be there by 12.40 to dance at 13.00.

Her face was a picture when she saw her costume and she looked lovely in it. Carys and her friends were the second to dance after a very confident solo by one of the slightly older girls. They were doing the 'teddy bear' dance, which is one they know from class. Sadly at one point as they were running across the arena Carys fell over on the uneven grass. It was a proper fall, with grass stained knees and shoes, but to her credit she got up and danced on and kept the tears back until after the preformance was over. This shot was taken by Jim after the dance and when she had cheered up slightly.

Both kids are the wrong way out, Carys is tired from going back to school and from being silly at bedtime yesterday leading to a late bed is not helping. As for W, well I have no idea, he is just dissolving into tears at the drop of a hat. Happy Fathers Day Jim, you are a great Daddy and they know it, even if they don't always show it!
