Minty Girls

Minty here is by no means referring to an aromatic herb (and im pretty sure these girls wouldnt want to be described as someone who smells like herb). Minty, here refers to the house we live in and dearly call, yup you guessed it right, Minty (it being Mint in color)! 

This dinner was actually a surprise birthday gathering (for Soifia) disguised as an end of tenancy dinner. I would like to believe she was surprised :) It was my first time at Bill's and my Mac and Cheese was delicious though i only consumed less than half of it (damn you tiny stomach!) We finished the gathering back at Minty by re-learning the Cups song by Anna Kendrick. Yeah, postgraduate students wasting a precious Friday night by learning a song. It was fun though, postgraduates seldom get to be as relaxed and carefree specially when we have deadlines and dissertations that need submitting soon.

I cycled form the uni to Minty this afternoon. The feeling of a good workout is just so exhilirating. I have not been cycling more this summer than i did last year and the years before that. And my waist is paying the price. I have gone 1 inch wider!! Nooooooooo!
