A Fawn in the Forest

My wife Lisa has worked at the same skilled nursing home for 43 years. (I can remember her as a candy striper.) I took her for a drive in the country to show her the new facility that will be competing with her place.

We saw movement, and the fawn froze by the side of the road. Before I could get my camera out, she had scampered off into the woods. Then, the second fawn appeared, and she was a much better poser.

The light was bad, and the ISO was way too high, but a deer is a deer.

Big day at our church tomorrow, with a car show, and a lot of fun things (like bounce houses) for the kids. I have been appointed the official  photographer, so it will be a l-o-n-g day.
