Hawker Harrying

As I was getting out of the car at Amwell Nature Reserve another car drew up. Percy, a lovely, huge, Newfoundland dog got out. His master planned to take him for a swim and I asked if I could tag along and take pics. Percy feels the heat and loves to cool off in the water. His master and I talked Sir Edwin Henry Landseer, Lord Byron and Peter Pan.


I then went in search of dragonflies. I met a very interesting man with an impressive beard who knew his wildlife stuff. I fumbled for the right lens and shot a Spitfire as it disappeared from sight. 


Not sure which hawker the above is. It didn't settle.
