Castle on the cliffs

We left Ayr after breakfast and continued south to Culzean Castle, one of the 'flagship' properties of the NTS. After a group photograph in the courtyard there was to be a couple of workshops, but my colleague and I had to leave early in order for me to be back at Arduaine in time to catch the 4pm ferry from Oban to Mull. We  made it and after a hair-raising drive with a manic bus driver arrived here in Bunessan some time after 6pm.

Tomorrow is my daughter's birthday so we're all looking forward to a relaxing day tomorrow before returning home on Sunday morning.
