Kindling

After a whole Summer trying to catch Lilli and Salvo's dam, before it's too late, without even the slightest sign of her, she emerged yesterday out of the storm.

She wasn't alone. 

I took some food down to the stable for her and it disappeared rapidly.

Today, there is a nest comprising four rabbit corpses in a ring, with her curled up in the middle of it. (Gail advised that, maybe, that would not be a suitable image to blip!)

By the time I made it back to the stable with the camera, she'd moved from the floor to the raised feeding trough/basket thing. 

She wasn't alone.

I'm no stranger to multiplication, but I do resent being a victim of it!
