Floating Marigold

It is Flower Friday today and there are no many blossoming flowers left now, as I prefer not to buy cut flowers and the fields and meadows around are still recovering from the draught I decided to play with what I find in my garden.

There are still plenty of marigolds and this one was put into a rain barrel which is now full to it rim and I like looking at its surface when passing by. Our house reflects in it at a certain angle.

Today I was at work/construction site and learnt there is still minimum a month of construction works ahead.
