From my window

A shot from the window of my flat rarely fails, especially when the weather is as fine as it has been today. It looks like I am obliged to take things easy for a while with loads of pills and other medicines to swallow after Tuesday's procedure. Time will do it and I will, with great reluctance and impatience, make myself semi-detached from The Great Task. Dickens' Selected Letters awaits, and Mozart, and Sibelius, and Beethoven.
