Laying eggs

We returned to the NHM today for another visit to the Butterly exhibit. Today we were lucky to see this butterfly actually in the process of laying eggs (the little tiny orange dots on the leaf and on her body). Fascinating to watch! And actually - my 5 1/2 year daughter took this photo!!
