In Bruges

We had an early start and a long drive to the ferry which was delayed, but here we are driving to our city break in Bruges. #3 daughter and family have taken a lovely big apartment, in a quiet location, despite being in the old town, and 2 minutes from the main square.

They made a tasty dinner for us and we are looking forward to exploring tomorrow. I came here 25 or more years ago, and Mr C brought his mum 20 years ago for her 70th birthday treat. Funny, she seemed an old lady, needing taking on a treat, and here we are, the same age already.
