BC... BC!!!

So these are some fabric swans from 3rd - 4th century BC which someone showed me today in the hermitage. They discovered a load of stuff buried in the ground in Siberia that was frozen and thus preserved. There are whole people with skin and eyes and hair still! There are also whole carpets that look exactly like rugs you can buy in ikea today it's bizarre. It didn't say what these swans were for only that they would have been made by a master craftsman. My iPhone camera is on the blink, it does this every so often so that's why there are lines across the photo sadly.
