Above Villefranche

P. is planning to spend the night at the Cortalet refuge next Tuesday before climbing up to the Canigou peak.  The hour long 4x4 taxi ride to the refuge takes a rough track and has sideways seats so that rules me out!  I am taking P. out on a few training walks and today's was above Villefrance and Corneilla.  The view is of Vauban's citadel fortress village with fort above, built after the Treaty of the Pyrenees in 1659.
