Lucky bay trees

The title has nothing to do with bay trees bringing luck (I have no idea if they do). No, it is the bay trees that are lucky. WHY do supermarkets get in plants and then ignore them? If we hadn't bought these today, I doubt that they'd have lasted to the weekend. You can see that they look a bit brown in places and these were the best of the ones dying at Aldi! Such a waste.
