Construction or destruction

Right next door to work is a construction site - they are currently digging the underground car park - the digging goes right up to the boundary with all the surrounding properties - I wouldn't be very happy if I was 1 of them - some beautiful big trees in other people's backyards will die as they have just sliced through the root system
