So it turns out the landlord for the flat downstairs is a fruitloop. He spent an afternoon standing in the front garden yelling all sorts of obscenities at this conifer bush and was pulling grass out around it and throwing the grass onto the bush and stuffing it into the bush.

I suggest that the producers of Neighbours relocate to telford. This would be make GREAT tv. It amused me...
