I love an audience
Well actually i don't. I can think of few things scarier than public speaking. Thankfully the cows weren't looking for a speech but they did look rather menacing. Maybe they were just hacked off being persistently rained on. Whatever their beef, I'm glad there was a fence between us.
Spent a lovely day with my sister and niece in Livingston. It didn't stop raining once so we stayed indoors and played games; some traditional, some modern and some completely made up, a la Miss A. Take the Hi5 game for example - give a Hi5 to anything that has the colour *blank* on it. It turned into a slap fest. Not to be recommended, at least not if you bruise easily.
Little D made himself at home as soon as he arrived at his aunty's house, sitting on the stair to take his shoes off. He's growing right before our eyes, just wonderful to watch. He's also mastering the use of the word 'no'. You can ask him pretty much anything and he'll give you a nonchalant 'no' as an answer, sometimes with a shake of the head for further clarification. I find it rather amusing at the moment, as does he. Come back to me in a few years and it'll be a different story.
