Where Are They?

I took the train south today for the 2012 Washington Brewers' Festival -- 65 Breweries (61 are Washington breweries) and over 200 beers! (I didn't taste all of them.) It's my son's annual Father's Day treat.

There were lots of women drinking beer at the festival, and they seemed to be enjoying it, but I didn't see many of them at this booth.

My son took me to a Thai restaurant for dinner afterwards, and got me to the station just in time for my train home. I asked the conductor to make sure I was awake when we got to Bellingham, and also set my iPhone alarm at its highest level. The last time I went to a beer festival in Seattle, I almost ended up in Vancouver on the return trip.

I was wide awake as the train arrived in Bellingham, and Cynthia was waiting to take me home for a dish of delicious fresh strawberries and Mallard ice cream -- a good way to end a great day out.
