Katydid in the Sun

This morning was quite cool though the temperature neared 100F (37.7C) this afternoon.
I suspect this Katydid choose a spot to snooze for the day that the sun’s heat made untenable.

It certainly was less than artfully camouflaged on the wall of our garage.
