The Smock Windmill at Ripple in Kent. Built in 1834 with its fantail. Trinity House paid for some of it as they used it as a navigational landmark for ships out in the Channel. Working until 1947, then in 1955,Rediffusion took it over as a TV relay station. Now a private home.
