Winning gardens

I had great pleasure this afternoon taking a wee tour of the village to photograph the winning gardens in our community council's annual garden competition. Here's a wee collage of some of them. They are probably not looking as good as when the judging was done at the beginning of the month after yesterday's deluge. This morning was misty and wet but when I went out late afternoon there were blue skies and plenty of sunshine.

I finished last night's blip with an appeal for good weather as today was meant to be a walking day. One look out this morning changed my mind and a productive morning of working at home took its place.
