Pyynikki

Pyynikki is an area west of the centre of Tampere. It's a ridge with steep slopes to the lakes on both sides, covered with wood. The area is a nature reserve and named one of the nationally valuable landscapes. There's an observation tower (height 26 metres) in the area and a cafe famous for its doughnuts under it.

Our camera club had a meeting by the tower (in the main photo). In the extra #1 a Porsche 356 that appeared in the front just as we had gathered there. In extra #2 the cash register in the cafe. In extra #3 the view northeast towards the tower Näsinneula and Lake Näsijärvi. In extra #4 a panorama to the south over Lake Pyhäjärvi from the park a few hundred metres west from the tower.
