True Grit

Car park duty this afternoon, then it was our Volunteer Barbecue. It was very pleasant but unfortunately it started to rain, and just kept raining! On my way home, I went via the SSSI which I visited on Monday - I wanted to try and get a photo showing the tumbled ground but there is nowhere to park along the section of road, so it was a quick leap out of the car to get the shot. True Grit? Upper Carboniferous 'Millstone Grit' to be precise
