The first one.

This is a 1938 (ish) Standard Fordson, that Mr Tbay has known all his life. It was used on the farm he was brought up on , and when the owner retired , gave it to him. It wS the first tractor in his collection.

These tractors were used during WW2, and in fact this has to have been built during the early 1940's as it has the narrow rear wings which were to save steel in wartime. After the war they were often sent back to the factory for a refurb , and then given a log book with what seemed to be a misleading date on it!
A glorious day weather wise spent mainly in the garden trimming cutting sweeping! Mr Tbay was a very tired boy by the end as he was trying to beat the weather which he did.

Farming - Two on compost hauling. Mr Tbay Jnr did a fantastic job on cleaning out the big workshop as it is needed for the flower arrangers for the wedding!! Needed to be done so winners all round.

Miss Tbay and my self busy with service sheets, place names and other wedding stuff. All very tired when we eventually got to bed.!
