Clean me!

Arriving back from a lovely weekend away, in Whitley Bay, with Joe and Em, I found a parcel on the step in the pouring rain.

Inside was this old warhorse. a bit damp but none the worse for the experience.

Everything seems to work, but it's a bit dirty, it has seen service and probably been stored inappropriately in the time since it's birth, years ago in the land of the rising sun.

So, blipmates, anybody out there got any tips concerning buffing up the silver bits? There's a ding in the filter ring. Any advice?
