Promise v reality

The promise of good weather was not guaranteed.  

The reality was that we spent a lot of time seeking scenes to photograph but achieved precious little.  Mist can make for a moody landscape...........or it can obliterate it behind its impenetrable curtain.

We had the latter, so instead of a workshop 'in the field' we headed back to Blenheim where Andy showed us some of his images and talked to us about how he achieved them.  Some impressive stories indeed!  Not quite what I had in mind for a field trip but there's always tomorrow.....
