Chester FC 1 Cheltenham Town 1

Chester maintained their unbeaten start to the season but conceded their first goal of the campaign in the process. A draw was a fair result, in a hugely entertaining game, but the Cheltenham goal was down to a goalkeeping mistake.

For some reason Chester think it is a good idea to water the pitch before kick off but I have no idea why. The water just lies on the surface and affected the run of the ball which didn't help either side.

On a slightly surreal note. I'm sure that many of you will be losing sleep at night wondering whatever happened to 1980s TV star Timmy Mallett. Well worry no more. He turned up at half time to do the raffle draw. I have no idea why he was there but he seemed to enjoy the game.
