Kent

I was back to work, today. To be honest, I did a couple of hours' work - mostly email - every morning while we were on holiday, so it wasn't like I came back to a crowded inbox. Actually, everything was very calm.

We were lucky with the weather while we were away. As late as last week, the forecast was for rain but apart from a bit of overnight drizzle, we didn't have a drop until we were driving back yesterday.

Today the Kent was in full flow. I can never remember if it's the fastest flowing or the fastest rising river in England but, either way, it was certainly busy.
