London Farewell

We went to London today to see Emma and say a final goodbye to Andrew, Noriko and Kio.  We met up at the Southbank Centre where we had some lunch and a wander round including a ride in the singing lift.

It was then a short walk to the London Eye where we queued for a ride. An excellent experience that we've only done once before (and first time for Kio).

After a break and cuppa in Costa we explored Covent Garden markets and Trafalgar Square where we said farewell and bon voyage. I took a stack of photos but it's too late now to go through them all so I picked this one I took from The Eye.

Sad but so nice to have seen them over the last month and a possibility of me going to Japan next year.
