Unnecessary items

A drizzly day on which the necessity to stay in for an Amazon delivery was quite welcome. A random selection of items of books for lesson prep. which I will have to get my head around some time soon; a fiction book from my wish list; a sewing book; a new green lead and collar for Bailey ( he is ruined but does look good in green it turns out - not that he will be wearing it until he has a name tag that doesn't clash!) and some crochet needles as another step to the idea that I might have a go at some point. 

The day has continued in similar fashion with a planned trip to IKEA - the place where the purchase of random  items is a necessity - with the bestest friend. A good catch up as well as a good distraction and two sets of drawers and a mirror in addition to this haul came home with us. Bailey spent his afternoon and evening with the official Bailey sitter and the favourite who met us as we arrived home and then had to get the heaviest items of the lot up to the top floor, ready for me to put them together. That's tomorrow's job.
