True Super Heros...

well, I truely expected today to be dull and blipless...little did I know...

Nipped to Tesco and on the way home a RAF Rescue helicopter landed beside us...
They had rescued a diver at Eyemouth and were heading to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary but could not land, so they were meeting an ambulance to transfer the patient....unfortunately it didn't look good for the diver as he was having CPR done on him during the transfer.....
Their winchman went in the ambulance too so the rest of the crew had to wait on him coming back.....so they took the time to have a chat with passers by, and took all the kids on board to sit in the cockpit... when the winchman came back they did their check and took off waving as they went....

What an amazing group of men!... in the middle of saving lifes they still manage to stop and take the time to make members of the publics day....

This guy decided he would go for a pose for my photo... I suppose they need to keep a sense of humour doing the job they do.....
