Glass slipper

Squidge's favourite game at bedtime is finding an item of my clothing (in this case my new Topshop skirt) and pretending to be Sleeping Beauty. She mixes up her fairytales by wearing her "glass slipper" (one blue ballet pump) and cracks me up, lying on the bed, lips pursed, hands clasped waiting for her Prince to kiss her!

Had a day off at home today. Unprecedented for me. I went back to bed and had another hour in bed after Angus and Squidge left for nursery. Then I read my book, did lots of washing and sorting and flopped in front of the telly to catch up on The Affair (Angus gave up on it so it's all mine to watch now).

It was lovely. I must do this time off business more often
