Not Porty Peope and Places

This is what a contrail looks like at 30000 feet over western Poland as we flew home from Warsaw after five fantastic summer days in the Polish capital.

I asked the pilot when we landed if such a view was normal and he assured me that that is what the planes' exhaust look like when you pass like this in our crowded European skies.

This blip makes me even more guilty about flying and even more respectful of my godson who is so concerned about the effect that mass aviation is having on our planet that he now refuses to fly at all.

Low cloud and rain welcomed us home to Auld Reekie!
