The Hardest Day

Loads of brilliant coverage of the Spitfires and Hurricanes at Biggin Hill but I missed them live. I went over to Sussex to collect Jemma who had been camping with the Guides. She texted asking if I'd take a shovel, which I did, but it wasn't needed. I was puzzled about this but it seems that it's the only way to open a shed somewhere where kit is stored but it wasn't needed after all. The weather was overcast so no real chance of seeing any aircraft but it was a lovely drive through the Ashdown Forest and it's always smashing spending time with child number one.
