Gorse Lane Trees

I went home for the weekend to visit my parents and my Gran. After tea I decided to borrow my old bike and head out for a quick spin around the local lanes in search for a blip. The harvest was underway, but this field of Barley had yet to fall to the harvester.

I like how these trees stand out on the horizon, and how the tramlines in the crop lead up to them.

While I was taking these pictures I had the accompaniment of a Status Quo tribute band which was performing at a motor bikers pub down at the bottom of the valley, and the sound drifted a long way. We could just about here it when I got home later.
