Windows 10? Grrrrrrrr............

‘Windows 10’ is turning Ann into a very grumpy old collie dog owner.  She’s just shouted at me for something that wasn't even my fault, so I've gone out onto the sun terrace for a bit of peace & quiet while she’s ranting away.


Last night she spent hours on the phone to her ‘very clever nephew’, Dan, while he talked her through how to upgrade to windows 10.  Switched on the laptop today and couldn't find anything – no emails, no Blip, no documents, nothing.  Where has everything gone?  Was there really anything wrong with ‘windows 7’?


So then she had to phone ‘very clever nephew’ again but he wasn't back from work so that just made Ann even more grumpy because she wanted to help me post my Blip.  And she didn't know how to download the photos of me into her pictures file. 


Anyway she has now spoken to ‘very clever nephew’ on face time on her ipad (how techie is she?) so was able to show him exactly what was on the screen on her laptop (isn’t technology wonderful when it works?)
Oh and guess what?........................... While Ann was talking to ‘very clever nephew’ a message popped up on the screen that said, ‘Tell us about your windows 10 upgrade experience.’  If Ann can find the message again she’ll be telling them quite a lot about her windows 10 upgrade experience???!!!


Anyway it looks like this Blip is going to post so hopefully she’ll stop ranting now???


...............And if anyone is interested; I had a lovely time playing on the beach this afternoon.  I did lots of splishing and splashing and sploshing in the sea.  And do you know what?.................... The lifeguard was zooming around on his quad bike and I didn’t even attempt to chase him once, so Ann was very, very pleased with me.


And now it’s 6.30pm, it’s still hot outside, so apparently Ann has to make the most of the good weather and have a large little glass of vino in the sunshine before watching EastEnders.  What rock & roll lives we live!



Rain is forecast for tomorrow.  Booohooooo.
