I told you there'd be no wild flowers today! A very quick blip as we spent most of the day travelling and were worn out when we got here. A very different environment from what we are used to. Gritty concrete, dirty red brick, not enhanced by the grey sky and chilly air. Ah well. Here's a glimpse of a few narrow boats. One of them could be yours for only £50,000 or so -- most of them seemed to be for sale.
