The birthday girl:)

Here she is ... our dear friend Elizabeth turned 50 yesterday. We didn't get to celebrate with her yesterday as she was whisked away to Macau by her family.

So it was our turn today. After church and a rest in the afternoon, we met up with them at the beach and sat in a bit of a drizzle for a while, thankfully it did stop and we popped open some sparkling rose to toast the birthday girl.

Lovely evening on the beach followed by dinner with our two families and we didn't part until we sang happy birthday a few times, loudly, to really rub it in ;-) What are friends for???
