beyond the bounds

I live only a hop-skip-and-jump from this MOD boundary. It is still MOD property as far as I'm aware but we haven't seen soldiers and their machinery there for many years. Thankfully it's in the midst of of built up area so we only experience cadet training and no live firing although we did have armed guards there for a short while back during the 'troubles'. It's getting a bit 'backendish' at present and it's a little worrying seeing more decaying leaves on the ground - is that it for summer?
