The Ferg

By fergie

The English Oxford dictionary states that the first use of the word pill-box was an article in the Scotsman newspaper dated 13th September 1917, This one is at Roseisle . The beaches at Roseisle near Burghead were used by the Americans and Canadians for training exercises for the D Day landings. I went to photograph birds in the hide there but the birds were elsewhere today. So I went for a forest walk and then along the beach. I managed a number of shots today , some town based shots, an oyster catcher, and some roe deer close up but to be honest I was lacking inspiration today, The weather is also dull here and the light flat which makes things slightly more difficult.
