Color! but no fins.....

Having had a good night’s sleep last night, I was awake and watching for those whales tonight, camera ready.  (wouldn’t you know the one time the camera is packed away because you don’t want to take any photos, that’s the time something good happens..—see yesterday) The Orcas were seen traveling through Montague today and apparently last week too.  Just 2 of them.  I think they must be transients, not residents.  Transients eat seals (residents eat fish) so I did go to check out our seal population in the bay —alive and prospering I’d say.  Here’s one looking rather pleased with himself.
