Having a Snack

Now that the osprey chicks have fledged there's not much action in the nest.  I've been there to visit twice since I've been home and it's been empty but this time I spotted Mama enjoying a fish all to herself on a nearby light pole.  Dad and the three juveniles were nowhere to be seen.  The juvies have a lot to learn before they start their journey south in about a month.  They can still be seen on the nest cam but it's often empty when I check.  I haven't seen the whole family together for quite a while.  I'll be sorry to see them go!
