I was feeling a bit uninspired today as the weather is brutally hot. I made several forays into the backyard, came back overheated and with not much to show for it.  As evening approached, a little panic set in and then I remembered that I hadn’t blipped the park in quite a while.  Here it is on a very hot summer evening.  (Note to self: must get some graduated ND filters to prevent blown out skies.) 

I think Maura143 correctly identified yesterday’s hawk as a Broadwinged Hawk.  Some here and on FB thought it was a Cooper’s Hawk, but I believe the tail was too short.  Thanks Maura!
